- Welcome to my Flour Power blog, I am excited you stopped by. I am a new cake baker, and I bake as a hobby and because it relaxes me. I feel baking is an art and I put a lot of time and pride into my creations. My goal is to not only make a cake look wonderful but to also taste fabulous. I grew up in a home of goodies. My mom was always baking something and made her sugar cookies not only a cookie but a gift. My sister has been into cupcakes and her ability to create the perfect cupcake always seems to amaze me.
